Reporting directly to the Asset Management Director, the Asset Portfolio and Reliability Manager (ARM) is the lead reference in the organization for the long term planning & reliability of the production assets.
In his/her role, the ARM manages the corporate processes to define, govern and monitor the compliance, performance and reliability of the production assets.
The department is led by the Asset Management Director who supervises Long Term Plans, Reliability strategy, scheduling, cost controls & process optimization related to the entire asset portfolio.
The function that has been created will be mainly focused on two strategical processes under one umbrella: the Asset Portfolio & the Reliability Management. The purpose of regrouping those two responsibilities is to ensure the best coherence & alignment between the short term decision/long term plans but also between the different locations of the Company.
As part of the role, the ARM will be focused on 3 main axes; strategic definition & deployment, process optimization & people alignment.
The Asset organization & the ARM role are quite new & will be more deeply defined by the impulsion, expertise & inputs coming from the Asset Portfolio and Reliability Manager.
More concretely, the Asset Portfolio and Reliability Manager (ARM) is mainly responsible for:
The Reliability Management:
As a priority, you define and standardize through the company the strategy and follow-up of reliability improvement programs in order to design and optimize the maintenance plans within each production site,
You define the most effective reliability improvement methodologies and give support to the sites in order to define priorities, lead the analyses, follow the action plans, monitor the performance and train the people on methodologies.
The Asset Portfolio Management :
You ensure, in collaboration with the production sites, the definition and implementation of a Long Term Asset Plan,
You ensure the intake, analysis and challenge of the investment proposals related to Asset Management topics (CAPEX category SHEQ – Replacement – Profitability), and propose the projects to be included in the multi-year invest plan and annual budgeting process,
In collaboration with the Corporate PMO (Project Management Organization), you define the governance, manage and optimize the Asset Management CAPEX projects portfolio in order to make sure the projects are aligned with the Corporate strategical objectives and delivered with respect of Quality, Budget and Schedule.
Making continuous improvement part of your daily activities:
You serve as a center of excellence in asset management and reliability engineering ; You ensure the definition and standardization of the asset performance monitoring related to asset portfolio and reliability management for each site,
You manage and maintain a communication structure, governance, and processes with every stakeholder in order to inform on progress of the projects and programs,
You define global KPI’s to follow the impact of the decided strategy,
You ensure the definition, standardization and implementation of a corporate architecture in order to monitor the industrial assets’ health within each production site.
You have a Master in Engineering.
You have at least 10 years of experience in Asset Management and/or Reliability engineering.
You have proven experience and skills in strategic & enterprise thinking; you are at ease to define a long term / global vision & to guide people to reach it.
You collaborate easily in a board structure &/or several sites managers (BE, FR, US) to reach alignment.
You have demonstrated skills in stakeholder management & change management.
You have experience in managing technical project portfolios and you are proficient in leading multidisciplinary improvement teams and continuous improvement initiatives.
Located mainly in Puurs or Engis, you are able to travel several times per year to meet your internal Business Partners.
You speak English, knowledge of French or Dutch is a plus.
