Within the Strategic Marketing department, you are involved in several projects and initiatives.
You will assist in processing of Heat Map data, evaluation of market attractiveness, and evaluation of both customers and competition. Ongoing work following the Heat Map project will be market/application analysis and evalulation of product line/product performance within Prayon ;
You are responsible for analysing markets on a global level (Asia, United States, North Africa, etc): customers, evolution of raw material prices, market trends, competition, etc… The aim of your research is to create reports for and communicate with internal clients (general management and sales teams, R&D, finance and raw materials purchasing) ;
Competitive intelligence is one of your main missions. You carry it out by analysing different parameters such as market shares, production capacity, financial results, new product launches, etc. of your competitors ;
As a Market Intelligence Analyst, you are also in charge of monitoring major consumer trends and ensuring that the legislative framework in which you are active is kept up to date.
You have a Master’s degree in marketing, international trade, economics or management ;
You have between 1 and 3 years of experience in an analytical marketing function ;
You have experience in B2B marketing (chemicals, food processing, pharmaceuticals, etc.) ;
You have an analytical mind, are comfortable with numbers, estimates and modelling;
You have a critical mind and seek to understand the reason for your actions ;
You are able to manipulate data, put it together and draw conclusions easily ;
You have excellent computer skills, especially Excel and Power Point ;
You have a perfect command of English (any other language will be considered as a real added value) ;
Flexible, you are willing to travel abroad on an ad-hoc basis.
